IANTD DEEP AIR DIVER COURSEPrerequisites
Advanced Open Water diver/CMAS 2 Star or equivalent with a minimum of 10 logged dives ages 15 or over.
Course Content
This course has been designed to provide responsible training to divers who plan to dive to 40 metres on air. The IANTD Deep Air Diver program trains divers in skills, performance, theory and planning of deep dives. This course remains within the commonly practiced depth of 40 metres and is the first sanctioned international program to provide proper training in safe deep diving skills and performance. IANTD Deep Air diver may be taught in conjunction with the IANTD EANx Diver course.
Open Water Dives
4 Open water dives done over 2 days, with 2 dives between 30 to 40 metres.
Limits of the Course
- No dives deeper than 40 metres.
- The appropriate safety stops are to be performed.
Course Cost
This is a two day course at £150 fully inclusive of Student manual, certification etc. Boat fees are not included and are charged as extra at £40 per person per day.
