“A feeling of effortless and weightlessness”, “like travelling through inner space”.
The delight that people feel as they are breathing and moving underwater for the first time is quite possibly the most exciting thing that they have ever experienced.
Take all these extraordinary and phenomenal feelings – and then add a shipwreck (or two!) into the mix!
The majority of divers will have taken their first underwater breaths in a swimming pool – but not here! Not with Scapa Scuba!! Here in Orkney we offer a unique ‘try dive’ on a historic Blockship Wreck!!!
Scapa Scuba is one of the few places in the UK that you can ‘try a dive’ in the sea - and is the only place you can do it on a Blockship wreck from one of the world wars!
‘Try a dive’ with Scapa Scuba - and experience the thrill of ship wreck diving on your first ever dive!
These ships were sunk between 1915 and 1940 (before the Churchill Barriers were constructed) to protect the British Naval Fleet whilst at anchor in Scapa Flow during WWI and WWII - an incredible and unique opportunity not to be missed!
