This one day experience is conducted at the Churchill Barriers and allows the diver to experience twin cylinder kit configuration. Skills cover the proper procedures for kitting up in a twin set, controlling buoyancy and trim in the water.
Prerequisites are PADI Advanced Open Water [or equivalent] and above, with over 15 dives.
Cost = £130/£255* [to include twinset, wing and regulators]. Duration 1 day.

DSAT/PADI Tec Basics [twinset speciality]
This two day experience is aimed at the slightly more experienced diver who wishes to learn/experience the basic skills of twinset diving with a view to continuing further along the Tec Deep/Technical training route or to just know how to use a twinset correctly.
Classroom sessions will cover the basic reasons behind twinset and advanced diving, as well as a hands-on session covering equipment set up.
In water sessions include 4 dives, which are run at the Dive Centre and the Churchill Barriers. Skills covered include buoyancy control and trim, air sharing, valve/manifold failures, surface marker buoy deployment, dive planning, carrying a stage bottle etc.
Upon successful completion this can be credited towards Tec Diver level 1 and 2.
Prerequisites are experienced PADI Advanced Open Water [or equivalent] and PADI Nitrox [or equivalent] with over 25 dives.

Equipment
Any extra equipment needed can be either hired or purchased through Scapa Scuba. However, at this level of
diving [Discover Tec excluded] it is usual for the diver to have the necessary equipment to enable them to continue
advanced diving beyond the course.
