We first started making the hoods mid way through the 2002 season. The shark hood came first, closely followed by the devil. From these two original designs, the imaginations of divers visiting Orkney went into overdrive! We have since perfected patterns for many different, unusual and fun hoods!
From our promise to make (or at least try to make!) whatever you suggest, came the range of hoods we make today. Suggestions are still pouring in. We have now a fine range of hoods for you including Tigger, Batman, a hammerhead shark, monkey and the ever popular range of spiky hoods. Please see the range of photos below ..........
The hoods are most popular with divers wanting to stand out from the crowd. Indeed, our hoods make great birthday or Christmas presents for the diver who has it all!

Just contact the Dive Centre (phone or email!) with your choice of style and the size required.
If you do not know what size of hood you would need then please simply measure round your head above the top of your ears about half an inch above the eyebrows – please make sure the tape measure is pulled tight.
Size – Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large
All the hoods are made in 5mm neoprene
As to postage – we charge £5 P&P for delivery within the UK, £7.50 for countries within the EU and £15 for USA and outside of Europe.
Whilst we carry some stock of hoods, most are made to order.
