PADI Deep Dive Speciality course

Do you want to see the big 12” guns on the Battleship Kronprinz Wilhelm which lie on the sea bed at 38m? Then you need to do your PADI Deep diver Speciality course!

Many of the worlds best diving sites are at depths greater than 18m. The PADI Deep Diver Speciality course comes highly recommended to increase your safety and enjoyment as a diver at increased depths. With Scapa Scuba's ideal location you can do your deep diver certification in one of the best wreck diving sites in the world.

The depth range of Scapa Flow wrecks is 18-45m. By doing the PADI Deep Diver Speciality course you are increasing your AOW limit from 30m to 40m – this in turn literally does open up a whole new ‘Scapa Battleship’ world to you.
The PADI Deep Diver Speciality Course will expand your knowledge and skills making you a more competent diver. It will improve your capabilities and increase your confidence, you become a safer diver and further your enjoyment of diving.

 

In summary ...

Without doubt, deep diving can offer some of the most stimulating and exciting challenges in the world of scuba diving. The PADI Deep Diver Speciality course includes the essential knowledge development sessions as well as four Open Water boat dives in Scapa Flow.  To complete the course you must be Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent, aged 15+ with at least 20 dives and prior experience of coldwater/drysuit diving.
